2.5 kg tomatoes
500 g onions
50 g sugar
50 ml oil
1/4 teaspoon cloves
2 tablespoons garlic powder
50 ml of vinegar
2 tablespoons onion flakes
1 tablespoon herbs
2 hot peppers
We will start with the preparation of tomato juice using the chopping machine Tefal HV8 Plus and the dedicated juice accessory.
In a large saucepan, add the oil, onion, hot pepper, salt and then sauté the onion for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
Add the tomato juice, then the sugar, vinegar, onion flakes, garlic powder, a little salt, cloves and herbs, mixing the composition very well. Let it boil for about 30 minutes or until it thickens enough.
When the oil has come to the surface, it is time to take care of the whole composition. At the end, while it is still hot, we will pour the ketchup into bottles then tighten the lid well and let them cool.
