American pumpkin pie


For the crust:
300 g flour
150 g butter 80% fat
3-4 tablespoons of water

For the filling:
1 kg pumpkin for tart
200 g brown sugar
200 ml whipped cream
80 g sour cream
3 eggs
1 teaspoon of cinnamon


Crust preparation:
Add flour, butter, salt to a bowl and begin to stir until incorporated. After that, add the egg and incorporate it, and gradually add the water. Knead until you get a homogeneous and soft dough. Take the dough out of the bowl and shape it like a disk, cover it with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge.

Filling preparation:
Set the manual mode of the appliance to OptiGrill + Snacking & Baking in step two (orange light) to bake the pumpkin and press the Ok key. When it has warmed up, put the pumpkin slices and leave them for 5 minutes.
After baking, put the pumpkin in a bowl and mash it with a potato sieve until it turns into a puree. Add the sugar, incorporate it, then the eggs and mix the composition. At the end, add the whipped cream, sour cream and cinnamon. Mix the composition very well.

Sprinkle flour on both sides of the dough and spread it until you get a thin sheet. After you have spread the dough very well, fold it and put it in the baking accessory of the Opti Grill + Snacking machine, spread it very well on the entire surface of the tray and then remove the excess. Place the baking accessory on the grill, add the pumpkin filling, turn on the grill, select manual mode in step 2 (yellow light) and press OK. Let the pie cook for 45 minutes.
Store until it reaches room temperature. After it has cooled, put it in the fridge for 4 hours or you can leave it overnight.
