500 g flour
100 g butter
250 ml milk
the peel of a lemon
300 g caramel cream
100 g sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon lemon essence
10 g of yeast
a little coarse salt
a little fine salt
For starters, we will add warm milk, dry yeast and mix to the bowl of the food processor Tefal MasterChef Pro .
Add the yolks, flour, sugar, salt, lemon peel, lemon essence and orange, then start kneading at low speed, then increase speed a little and leave to knead for about 10 minutes.
Now, add the butter little by little, continuing to mix for another 10 minutes.
Remove the dough from the bowl of the food processor and transfer it to a container with a little oil, where we will let it rise for about an hour or until it doubles in volume.
While the dough rises, we will prepare the caramel cream:we add the caramel cream in a bowl over which we add the salt and mix.
Divide the dough into 22 equal balls in which we will add in each a teaspoon of salted caramel and then shape the dough again in the form of a ball, placing it in the tray covered with baking sheet. Do the same with the rest of the balls until we get the shape of a fir tree in the tray.
Let the dough rise for about 20 minutes, then grease it with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
Put the tray in the preheated oven at 160 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.
